Since it’s my birthday week, I wanted to offer you one last giveaway before the New Year!
I was over the moon when I was asked to review the Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven! I had the original oven when I was little and have such great memories of making cakes and cookies with my friends.
Little Miss R is going to be getting this for her birthday, so I haven’t shown it to her yet, but I took it out for a spin…
First of all, I can NOT get over how dang cute it is. I mean, have you ever seen a more stylish oven?
One of my favorite things about the new Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven is that you can plug it in! You don’t have to wait for a lightbulb to cook your pastries any longer. You do have to wait 20 minutes for the oven to “heat up,” but it takes that long to mix up the dough and get it ready to bake anyway.
The cookies are very small, but I think my soon-to-be three year old will be delighted with them and will be perfect for our tea parties. It did take another 10-15 minutes for the cookies to bake, so it may be a challenge to keep her interest while they’re cooking.
Though the pan wasn’t dishwasher safe, there wasn’t much mess after making the batter and putting it on the cookie sheet.
The Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven included chocolate chip cookie mix, red velvet cake mix, pink frosting mix, and a rainbow sugar crystals package. Obviously these mixes will go quickly, but you can buy an Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven Super Pack which has 12 mixes, including yellow cake, Devils food cake, strawberry cake, pretzel, nacho cheese sauce, chocolate chip cookie, pink sugar cookie and chocolate, vanilla, and lemon frosting mix.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the new Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven and I can’t wait to see Little Miss R’s face when she opens her gift!
