How To Cook: Fat Free “Ice Cream”

We just got back from a great road trip to see my sister-in-law graduate from college.  We had a blast.  One thing about being down South, there is no shortage of food.

After several a few indulgences (and a few pounds gained :() I’m back on the weight loss wagon.  That’s why this recipe for fat free “ice cream” blew my mind and satisfied my need for something sweet.

What’s even better…there’s only one ingredient (two if you want to be fancy).

Fat Free “Ice Cream”

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 frozen bananas (when your banana is ripe, peel it, slice it and freeze it)
  • 1-2 tsp. cocoa powder *optional*

How To Make It:

  1. Place the frozen bananas and cocoa powder in a blender or food processor and blend.
  2. Stop every few minutes to scrape the bowl.

In theory, I should’ve blended a few more minutes, but I was hungry.  🙂
