How To Eat: Oyster Cookies

by How To Mommy on 07.13.11

The adorable ideas just won’t quit this week at Bible School!

First, I was obsessed with the Sea Anemone pool toys, now it’s these sweet treats.

These oyster cookies are not only adorable but super tasty!  And while they look like they take a long time to prepare, they couldn’t be simpler!

How To Make Oyster Cookies

  • Nilla Wafers {2 per child}
  • Pink Butter Cream Frosting {1 tsp per child – you can buy this in a can, but I prefer to make my own}
  • Black Decorating Gel
  • Yogurt Covered Raisins {1 per child – we used marshmallows at church, but I think the raisins would be cuter and look more like pearls}

  1. Spread frosting on the bottom of half of the Nilla Wafers
  2. Place the yogurt covered raisin towards the front of the cookie
  3. Place the second Nilla Wafer to act as the “top” of the oyster shell
  4. Put two eyes on each oyster with the decorating gel

Honestly, how cute are these?

Those are so cute! Wish I had kids to make them for.
