How To Cook: Low Calorie Mug Cake

I’ve now been on my weight loss journey for a year!  I can’t believe how quickly and slowly the time has gone.  🙂

I’m very happy to report that I’ve lost 32.6 pounds.  Only 17.4 till my goal!

Though none of it has really been easy, I often think that nights are the hardest.  That was until I met the Mug Cake.

This cake is so simple and won’t do damage on your waistline (assuming you can restrain yourself from eating multiple in a night)!

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of regular cake mix {you could use any flavor.  I prefer chocolate.}
  • 1 box of angel food cake mix

How To Make It:

  1. Mix angel food cake mix and regular cake mix in a ziplock bag.
  2. When ready to eat, put 3 T. of the cake mix in a mug/custard bowl.
  3. Stir in 2 T. water.
  4. Microwave for 1 minute.
  5. Enjoy!

Seriously, that’s it.  Your own personal cake in about 1 minute and 15 seconds.  It could not be simpler!  I’ve calculated each cake to have 3 PointsPlus, which should be about 120 calories.
