I’ve mentioned before my love of photography.
Instagr.am is a free way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. You just snap a photo with your iPhone, choose a filter to transform the look and feel and then send it to Facebook, Twitter or your own contacts.
ShutterCal is a calendar-based daily photography project. You can use it to document your life and improve your photography with one daily photo. Once your calendar is made, you can turn your images into real stamped & mailed postcards, print the photos, or showcase your project on your blog or social networking site.
Ever since Little Miss R was born my mom has had me take a picture of her (and then of she and/or Baby O) every weekday and email it to her while she’s at work to brighten her day. So I’m fairly used to the daily photo concept, but I’ve never had much to show for it when I was done.
I thought it would be a lot of fun through the use of these two sites to make a calendar of images from our lives so we can look back next year and really see what 2012 was like. A few days ago I downloaded both apps so I would be ready to go!
Here’s my very own calendar:
I hope you’ll enjoy my calendar throughout the year. I’ll put it in my sidebar when there’s more than one image.
And if you’re so inclined, I hope you’ll join me on my photo challenge!
