I’m sure since last week you’ve been a bow-making machine, right?
You’re probably wondering what you’re going to do with all these bows and flowers and all things girly.
Well I have your answer! These hair clip organizers are perfect to keep everything in one {visible} place.
My sister-in-law made Little Miss R one for Christmas last year, but since redoing her bathroom I needed one that matched. Here’s what I did.
DIY Hair Clip Organizers
- Wooden initial
- Paint {any color you like}
- Glitter glue {coordinating with paint color} *This is optional, but I like sparkly things!
- Foam paint brush
- Ribbon {length varies based on how many hair clips you have, but at least 12 inches}
- Hot Glue Gun
What You Do
- Paint your wooden initial

- Once dry, squeeze glitter glue over the letter

- Smooth with the foam brush

- Once dry, place hot glue on the back of the letter

- Firmly press ribbon on the glue

- Attach all your bows and flowers and you are set

I had to make one for each girl, but based on the number of flowers and bows we have, I should have made them longer!

This is a great idea! I don’t have any girls to display bows for, but I can see this holding my son’s soccer photos or some other keepsakes!

Any ideas of how to attach headbands too…the cloth kind that is. Thanks! Love your blog and follow you often!
Kristin, I was thinking you could attach a hair clip (big alligator clip) to the bottom of the ribbon with hot glue and the just clip them all. That’s all I’ve come up with though.
