How To Get Organized: Chalkboard Labels

by How To Mommy on 05.12.11

Probably one of my biggest complaints of children…their stuff.  I swear, it looks like a tornado went through my home on a daily basis.

What I really needed was a place for everything and everything in its place.  (That’s a saying, right?)

I got some vinyl chalkboard labels to help give everything its place and they are FAN-fricken-TASTIC.  I used them on my toy shelves to help organize the bins.

What’s great is that I can label them now for the toys my infant and toddler are using and re-label as they grow and are into new things.  They are so practical and so helpful.

Are you ready for my FIRST official giveaway?  Read about Ginger and her amazing chalkboard labels and then enter for your chance to win your very own set.

Giveaway Details

Hi.  I’m Ginger
from over at Ginger Snaps Crafts.
It’s a place to share ideas I’ve found, &
inspire you to create along with me.

I’m a wife to one awesome guy &
a busy mom of
5 wild & crazy kiddos.
I love to blog, garden,
craft, organize
& most of all be with my family.
I’ve been blogging for almost 4 years.
I love keeping a journal of my family,
but I thought our family blog was getting
a little overrun with all my craftiness.
So, that’s when I decided it was time to part ways
& start my very own craft blog. 🙂
So that’s how Ginger Snap Crafts started.
{Would love, love, love to have you stop by!}
One of the wonderful things about blogging
is the wonderful people you get to meet.
I am so excited to be over here
on The How To Mommy.
{Love your blog!}

Like I said before,
I love, love, love to organize!
Organizing & cleaning up
just makes you feel good inside,
but you know, once you’ve got
everything tidied up
& organized you’re going to
need a way to label things!
{I’ve got just the thing for you!}
Up for grabs today is
a set of 6 fancy rectangle chalkboard labels.
{I carry these labels in my etsy shop, Ginger Snaps.}
Use these for labeling:
toy bins, canisters,
storage bins, gift tags & jars
….just about anywhere in your
house that needs a little more organization. 🙂
You can use both regular chalk
or chalk markers on these labels.

{Labels measure 2 inches by 4 inches.}
Chalkboard vinyl is a thick vinyl

with a sticky back.
It can be wiped
off with a damp cloth,
& written on again & again.
Once applied though it
can not be repositioned.
The vinyl must be placed on a
clean, dry, smooth surface.
Ready to get organized, and look cute doing it?

Just became a GFC follower. I’d use the labels for our basement organizing system. We’re moving my son downstairs in his own room to get ready for our new baby girl coming in July!

Love the chalk board stickers! We have used the paint on the back of a kitchen cabnet and on flower pots. These would be great for terra cotta flower pots too!
