The next super sewing mom featured in Mommy’s Must Have Monday:
Brandy, mom to Blake & Audrey and sewer extraordinaire
One day, I was in line at the zoo waiting for the baby changing table to open up because all the little babies decided to poo at the same time. Finally, it was my turn. I laid Miss A on top of my changing pad and ripped off her dirty diaper. Holding onto to her with one hand, I was not looking while digging in my diaper bag for a diaper. It seemed like every diaper I kept pulling out were my son’s size! I could hear the sighs and foot tapping from the moms behind me. After about five attempts I held in my hand Miss A’s diaper. It was horrible!
As soon as I got home, I Googled diaper holders. I found a ton of them for a little more then I wanted to spend and the ones I liked didn’t match my purse. I came across an amazing pattern for these Diaper Clutches, printed it out and was off to the fabric store.
Thankfully only my daughter is still in diapers but I use my diaper clutch everyday. I keep one in the car, have them at home on the self and when we go some where I toss one in my purse. I have a diaper clutch to match every purse (sad, I know!). I couldn’t imagine my mommy life without a diaper clutch. Now I never have to worry about grabbing the wrong size diaper or digging for a diaper while in line at the baby changing table.
Thanks a million to The How To Mommy for letting my share my Mommy Must Have! Happy diaper changing!
