How To Party: Little Miss R is Three!

by How To Mommy on 02.13.12

I’ve been planning Little Miss R’s birthday for quite some time, thanks to Pitter Patter Parties.

But I still had a lot of trouble believing that today, my sweet baby turned three!

Today we celebrated in style…ballerina style, that is.

About the Party:

Decorations: Pitter Patter Parties designed the invites, door sign and banner.  I made a few pom poms from Pinterest and picked up a balloon bouquet from a local party store.

Food:  The kids had the sandwich of their choice (PB&J, turkey and cheese, or ham and cheese) cut into cute shapes using simple cookie cutters, fruit kabobs with grapes, pineapple and strawberries and goldfish or natural cheetos.

Dessert: Cupcakes are all the rage and nice and pre-portioned, so I made some chocolate cupcakes from scratch and decorated them based on a Pinterest inspired idea.

Goodie Bags:  I opted against these this year.  I think they’re usually just filled with junk moms throw away after the party, so I spared everyone.  🙂

The party ended up being very simple, but just perfect for my little THREE year old.  Happy Birthday, Little Miss R!
