How to Wrap for Half Price

How to Wrap for Half PriceWhen my two-year old was born I heard a lot about Moby wraps but never tried one.

Once my second daughter was born and being “hands free” was more of a necessity, I borrowed one and I fell in love with everything about it…except the price.

They run $39.95 for the most basic wrap and up to nearly $70 for an organic one.  That seems outlandish for a piece of cloth.

I was sure there had to be a cheaper way and that’s when my aunt informed me that I could make one for half the cost.

How To Wrap for Half

  1. Locate your nearest Hancock Fabric
  2. Get the 40% off coupon online (they offer this coupon a lot, so wait until they offer it)
  3. Ask for the cotton interlock fabric and pick your color
  4. Buy 6 yards of the fabric
  5. Once you’re home, cut off the salvage edge and then cut the fabric down the middle, length wise
  6. You now have TWO wraps for $35.96 (plus tax)!  Keep one for yourself and give one as a gift (or keep them both and have one at home and one in the car)!
  7. You can always go to Moby Wrap and learn the different holds.

Now that I have my own wrap, I can’t imagine life without it.  Not only is it perfect in stores that were most certainly not designed for strollers, but when my daughter gets herself all worked up and nothing can calm her down, I wrap her up and in a matter of minutes…silence.

I hope you love the wrap as much as I do, and I know you’ll love the price!
